TOCA have confirmed that they have terminated the license agreement with Motorsport Games for the upcoming BTCC game. The news has been met with mixed reaction, with fans of BTCC disappointed but somewhat relieved that MSG will not be working on the title.
The announcement comes days after MSG confirmed it will be making a 40% reduction of its workforce.
BTCC still has official content as DLC for rFactor2, including the cars from 2020-2023 as well as some of the tracks.
We really do hope that the license is snapped up quickly, and Ian Bell who is currently working on GTRevival tweeted (or X'd?) if people are interested in BTCC content.
